Hydrogeological and Geochemical Characteristics of the Coastal Aquifer of Stromboli Volcanic Island (Italy)

Although groundwater is a strategic source in volcanic islands, most hydrogeochemical research on this topic has been focused activity monitoring, overlooking general hydrogeological aspects. The same applies to one of the studied volcanoes world, Stromboli Island (Italy). Here, we provide scheme its coastal aquifer, retrieving inferences about potential use as water supply and for optimizing monitoring protocols surveillance.
